Hallowed Haven

Dear Friends,
Peering outside this afternoon, I see ominous dark clouds looming to the north. We here in Phoenix are preparing for a large storm to move across the valley. My mind drifts to the cool days of autumn slowly making their way here. Warm tones, bountiful harvests, cozy blankets, fires crackling in the fireplace, reconnecting with my garden. Halloween and the beginning of the holiday season. This is my favorite time of the year to nest in my home.

Sweet Salvage's Hallowed Haven aligns perfectly with the transition into autumn that I am so longing to make. This month a special treat is in store for all of us. Once again, the Sweet Gang will host a Preview Party Wednesday night, September 18th from 6:00-8:00pm, before the Hallowed Haven event on September 19th. Tickets go on sale September 3rd at 8:00am on the website, www.sweetsalvage.net. It is a wonderful evening filled with fall and Halloween inspiration, Postino's yummy hors d'oeuvres, a wine and dessert bar and for entertainment the fabulous Jon Campbell Band. Tickets are limited to 100 guests. They do go fast so make sure you get yours early.

Thank you to all of our Sweet guests who will be attending the Sweet Stops dinner and class on September 20th at Sweet Salvage. This event is sold out but there is a waiting list available if you are interested. Visit them on Facebook for more information. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Sweet-Stops/188839241148506?ref=br_tf

Last, but not least, what wonderful news, you did it! Sweet Salvage has been nominated as a "Best of Phoenix" business, now we need your help to win the awards! Please go to http://readerschoice.phoenixnewtimes.com/ and vote for us in the "Best Antiques on a Budget" and "Best Vintage Boutique" categories. Thank you for your support!

Have a wonderful evening.

  1. I have Vintage Orange Ceramic Owls that were intended for Macrame Beads in the 1950's. They would go great with your next theme! Love the themes you have been doing!
